As most people are aware, Osama Bin Laden shocked the entire world when he orchestrated the 911 attacks in 2001 by bombing the US with a Kamikaze, killing a few people and injuring many more.

Osama bin Laden has caused the United States pain that they will most likely never forget. Even though he is no longer alive, many families are still suffering the consequences of his decision to kill their loved ones to demonstrate to the United States that he means war.

Osama Bin Laden hid from the US government for many years after the attacks, but as everyone knows, nothing lasts forever. Osama was eventually apprehended by the US military and killed on the spot.

Instead of abandoning the corpse, the US Military chose to take it and throw it in the ocean. as explained by Wikipedia, this is the reason why Osama Bin Laden was buried in the middle of the ocean.
